The Col d'Aspin in the French Pyrenees

Day Four of our bike tour in the French Pyrenees: we ride two of the iconic names in cycling, the Col d’Aspin and the Col du Tourmalet. It’s a fantastic day. The Aspin is a solid, yet slightly easier climb than the Tourmalet. It makes for a good warm-up before ascending the Tourmalet. But beyond just a warm up hill, it can hold it’s own in terms of a challenge and for the scenery. Definitely worth it if you’re in the region!
