We often get asked, “If In Situ Bike Tours stay at one hotel for the entire week, don’t you just end up repeating the same routes?”
The simple answer to that question is: no, we don’t. Each In Situ location has been chosen specifically because it offers a wealth of great riding. Girona for example is the home to more that 65 pro riders. Why? Because there is some much incredible riding to be had. Likewise, our bike tour in Provence is situated such that you’ll be riding a different route every single day of the week. In most cases, all the rides are loops and not out and bikes. Except for the last mile or two right around our trip hotel, the entire rest of the ride will be new every day. We think that’s pretty special.
There are a lot of small, less traveled roads in Europe and we strive to use as many of them as possible during our bike tours. It keeps it fresh and it allows us to see more of the regions we visit.
