What our guests have to say about their trip with us.
We are always striving to provide our guests with the best possible experience during their bike tour. We feel that the connections and relationships that we build with our guests are some of the most rewarding parts of our business. We look forward to the journey that each guest takes with us during their tour, so it truly means something special to us when we receive such wonderful comments such as the ones below. Thank you.
“We just completed our third trip with In Situ. Our local club has completed two extended custom tours of France and Italy and most recently the Provence trip. The next two trips are in planning stages. Each time, our expectations have been exceeded with respect to the level of personal service, the beauty and challenge of the selected routes, and the extraordinary value. If you want to cruise down the road for an espresso or cappucino, these trips are for you as long as you understand that you will have just crested one or two of the iconic mountain cols in Europe. If you want to be immersed in the history, culture, landscape and food of a particular part of Europe, these trips are for you. If you want to trace the Tour, Giro, or Vuelta routes, these trips are for you. If you wish to redefine your limits and capacities as a cyclist, these trips are for you. If you expect to be pampered off the bike, these trips are for you. I’d say more, but I’m off to a club gathering to discuss our next thrilling, satisfying, challenging bicycling vacation with In Situ.” – Chris H.
“In Situ is everything you could possibly hope for in a guided cycling adventure. Jace and Heather’s professionalism, attention to detail and overall enthusiasm made this a trip of a lifetime. I would highly recommend using In Situ!” – Finn P.
“In Situ gave us the best trip ever. It was the trip of a lifetime. We hope that we can meet up again and do another trip with In Situ. Thank you for the wonderful memories.” – Anne O.
“What a great trip. We saw many wonderful things, and rode on some of the best routes ever. The knowledge of the group leaders about the routes was very high, you could tell that for most of the routes the leaders had recently ridden. The villages we saw and the scenery was out of this world. Seemed like we were in a movie set, everything was perfect.” – Mike H.
“Jace has created two custom trips for a group of us from Albuquerque. The Pyrenees, Provence and Alps in France and he Dolomites, Alps, and Tuscany in Italy. Both trips offered opportunities for the most accomplished cyclist to explore the limits of their capacity on iconic climbs through breathtaking, panoramic scenery. Jace has explored Europe and beyond for over a decade and knows routes and roads known primarily to locals. But the epic cycling is only part of the joy of an In Situ vacation. Lodging is always representative of the region, excelling in personal service and accommodations exclusively for cyclists. And then there’s the food. Jace presents meals that capture the essence of the region, beautifully prepared. We have found that Jace exceeds expectation with respect to service. He strives to assure each participant experiences a trip of their lifetime. In our most recent trip we ranged from one individual who rode less than 30 miles to those of us who covered 700 miles and over 70K feet of climbing. Each of us shared an experience we will never forget. We are already planning our next In Situ cycling adventure. Great value as well. On occasion we encountered other tour groups, all who marvel at the cost/experience difference offered by In Situ. If you love to cycle and want to be immersed in a stunning part of the planet, take an In Situ vacation.” – Chris. H.
“Did an amazing trip this Spring in Girona Spain with In Situ. Although probably less well-known than some of the French routes, I would recommend this ride to anyone. Especially if you like Spanish food. Mmm. Plus Girona was a great town, very relaxing and fun to unwind after a day of cycling.” – Vijay D.
“In Situ put together a custom trip for our cycling club that included 11 days of riding in the Pyrenees, Provence and the Alps. This custom trip was my wife’s and my first trip to Europe, our first cycling trip and the first “organized” trip/vacation we’ve ever taken. Every aspect of the trip organization, and the service we received-hotels, meals, transportation, riding-everything-exceeded our expectations and we definitely hope to join In Situ again for another trip.” – Dan H.
“I wish anyone considering a ‘once in a life-time’ trip with opportunities to stay carefree, flexible in schedule and challenging in daily rides would speak to any of us on last year’s trip, Jace. You and Audrey rated a high 20 out of 1-10 scale. Superb!” – Diane M.
“Just booked my fourth ride with InSitu for this summer!!! I look forward to this more than Christmas!!! For that matter, more than most things. If you like cycling you’ll love it after a trip with Jace at InSitu.” – Brian P.
